Our Mission
Our mission is to provide very low to moderate income individuals and families with pre and post purchase home buyer and financial education as well as quality affordable housing which will create positive economic development in neighborhoods under distress. It has been proven that home ownership is the major portion of wealth for most American families.
The ability to find decent, safe, and affordable housing has been a major concern in the Southeast Florida area. Our organization was established to provide an opportunity for individuals and families in need to become homeowners. Our services also include financial and credit counseling, assistance in credit repair, and homebuyers education in cooperation with other non-profit and for-profit organizations. These services are provided to educate our clients in the benefits of home ownership, give them the information and knowledge on how to properly acquire a home, and to provide the basic financial skills, homeownership skills and information needed to keep and maintain their home.
Make a Contribution
One of the major goals of Haven Economic is to provide donations and contributions to those who we assist through our programs.
Because Haven Economic is a tax deductible, non-profit organization, we are always looking for sources of funding such as gifts and grants. If you would like to make a contribution in any amount, or if you know of an organization or group that would like to assist us with funding, we welcome your response.

Values & Principles
Home ownership has been America's most sought after financial dream. It is the major financial asset of most Americans. The equity built up from years of ownership has provided many families with funds for retirement, college education, personal family occasions, and funding or collateral to start or expand existing business ventures. It is our underlying belief that decent, affordable home ownership acts as one of the primary sources and catalysts of family, community, and economic development. By providing decent, affordable housing and combining the knowledge and skills on how to acquire and maintain a strong household, the local and greater communities are strengthened with citizens who now care about the social and economic success of where they live and have a sense of belonging. They essentially will have the desire to improve their community.
Today's families are different. There are fewer extended families, which can be partially attributed to the increasing rate in which they relocate. As a result, this can place more stress on families, which leads to susceptible drug abuse and crime. Families under such pressure require programs that will help alleviate these issues which contribute to the social and financial burdens of our communities. Our programs target very low, low and moderate income areas, as well as impoverished drug infested communities in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. Most social and economic problems that plague our inner cities are direct results from unemployment and the sense of not belonging or not having a piece of the "American Dream." Our programs assist "at risk" individuals and families to attain affordable housing, home ownership skills, and build economic wealth.
